1. Who Can Join?

• Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or pro in UI/UX, you’re welcome to participate!
• Registration is open to individuals only.
• Please provide accurate details during registration so we can reach you easily.

2. Registration & Participation

• To join, simply fill out the registration form. Easy, right? ✅
• After registering, make sure to join our Discord community—this is where all the magic happens! ✨
• If you don’t join Discord, we’ll assume you’ve lost interest, and we’ll have to give your spot to someone else.
• The first challenge will be a screening task, and you’ll have 3 days to complete it.

3. Contest Guidelines

• Your designs should be original and created by you. No AI-generated or copied work, please!
• Stay engaged! Designers who don’t actively participate may be replaced so the contest remains competitive.
• Social media engagement matters! Sharing your designs, getting feedback, and engaging with others can boost your chances of winning. 🚀
• Deadlines are important—late submissions might not be considered unless there’s a very good reason.

4. Design Ownership & Recognition

The CVSpan Design Jam is a team-based challenge where participants collaborate to solve a real-world problem. As a result, CVSpan will have sole ownership of all designs created during the contest.

We recognize that great work comes from great minds! While the primary goal is to work as a team to create impactful solutions, we also value individual contributions.

• Outstanding team members may receive special recognition for their efforts.
• If CVSpan decides to further develop or implement any of the submitted designs, the company may, at its discretion, appreciate contributors with a token of gratitude.
• Regardless of the final selection, participating in this contest is a great opportunity to showcase your skills, build connections, and enhance your portfolio!

5. How Winners Are Chosen

Our judges will evaluate designs based on:
✅ Creativity – How unique and visually appealing is your design?
✅ User Experience – Is it intuitive and easy to navigate?
✅ Social Media Engagement – How well did you showcase your work?
✅ Overall Quality – Did you follow design principles and contest guidelines?

The judges’ decisions are final, but no matter what, you’re still a winner for participating! 🎖️

6. Let’s Keep It Friendly!

• Treat fellow designers, judges, and organizers with respect.
• We have a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech, harassment, or any negative behavior.
• Discord is for learning, networking, and growing—let’s make it a fun and positive space! 🌍

7. Prizes & Payments

• 🎉 All winnings will be paid in Nigerian Naira (₦).
• If you request payment in another currency, conversion charges may apply.
• Due to sponsor requirements, payments might be processed through their preferred platforms. We’ll keep you updated!

8. Disqualification & Withdrawals

• If someone doesn’t follow the guidelines, we might have to disqualify them (but we hope we don’t have to!).
• Inactive participants will be replaced—so stay involved!
• Need to withdraw? No problem! Just let us know on Discord so we can adjust accordingly.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Your information is safe with us. We’ll only use your details for contest-related communication and nothing else.

10. Updates & Changes

We may tweak these terms if needed, but don’t worry—we’ll announce any updates in Discord.
